  SnapShot: Duke Energy Plant Cleaning / Citrus County Florida

B&W Energy Services has mobilized to Citrus County, Florida to perform AquaLazing services for Duke Energy’s plant expansion. This is the latest in a series of pre-commissioning cleaning projects Duke Energy has chosen B&W to execute due in large part to excellent performance record. Construction of the new 1,640-megawatt combined-cycle natural gas plant in Citrus County began in 2014 and is expected to cost $1.5 billion.

  News: B&W Energy Services Offers Expertise to Louisiana Project

B&W Energy Services is proud to contribute to the Sasol Lake Charles Ethylene Expansion - one of the largest and most complex projects to reach Louisiana in years. The world-scale petrochemical complex contains an ethane cracker aiming to produce 1.5 million tons of ethane annually, and includes six chemical manufacturing plants. Located in southwest Louisiana, the plant will nearly triple Sasol’s U.S. chemical production capacity, allowing growth in global chemical markets.
