HOUSTON—April 4, 2016—B&W Energy Services, Inc., the leading full service provider of commissioning and pre-commissioning cleaning services, today announced a recent addition to the company’s executive team. Pelham Smith was appointed as Chief Financial Officer, joining the Company with over 30 years of experience in corporate finance.

Smith will be responsible for overseeing the administrative, financial and risk management operations for the Company, and will participate in the identification, negotiation, financing and integration of potential acquisitions. As part of his over 30 years of experience in management and corporate finance positions, he spent 12 years with HydroChem Industrial Services, Inc., where he successfully executed a series of acquisitions which helped grow the business from $18 million to over $200 million in revenue. Smith was an integral part of HydroChem’s growth, as the business evolved from a regional company with a single service line, into a national company with multiple service lines and international activities. The combination of his industry experience at HydroChem and his broader finance, acquisition and management experience make Smith a very strong addition to the executive team at B&W Energy Services.

Smith’s wide range of experience includes management roles in COO, CFO, Managing Director and Corporate Development positions, private equity investing, and commercial and investment banking. Smith holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a BS from the University of Alabama.
