Dennis Miller is certainly no stranger to the industrial pre-commissioning cleaning industry. With over 35 years of experience in the business and nearly 15 years at B&W, he’s been instrumental in the growth of every company he’s worked for, whether as a service technician, project manager, master inspector or sales engineer.
“My initial start in the business was interesting,” Dennis says. “We had no plans, no drawings, no procedures. Starting this early allowed me to help develop all the requirements we use today.” While helping shape company policy as B&W continued to grow, he also taught himself how to use AutoCAD with help from his peers to expand his skillset.
After working in the field for many years, he joined the sales and marketing side of the business. Today, he’s served as B&W’s marketing manager for almost 15 years. As marketing manager, Dennis enjoys identifying projects across the globe that would benefit from B&W’s services and developing and maintaining client relationships.
He’s also trained many people in the industry, and he loves seeing them and B&W grow as a result. “When you help train someone well enough so they can jump out and start to develop their own company, it’s as if the training has paid off tenfold,” Dennis says. “I am proud to be a part of that.”
Dennis is extremely grateful, not only for the opportunity to help and watch B&W thrive, but also for the lifelong friends he’s made along the way.
“Life is such a blessing when you are happy with what you do and have done to help others. My career here has truly been a blessing.”
Outside of work, whether he’s barbecuing for the company, participating in a cookoff somewhere or even entertaining in his man cave, rest assured that he’s conquered the BBQ learning curve. Dennis also loves spending time with his family and going mudding.
