With nearly 15 years of industry experience, Matt Gossman has consistently brought a level of excellence to every role he’s held with B&W, from engineering technician to project engineer to sales engineer. Now, as a solutions engineer, he combines his engineering background with his sales expertise to help deliver the best results for B&W’s clients.
Drawing from his hands-on project experience, Matt develops proposals, supports the engineering workload and ensures that projects are executed exactly as promised. He understands the challenges of project execution firsthand, and Matt’s insights allow the B&W team to work more efficiently while keeping client satisfaction at the forefront.
Since his first meeting with B&W’s engineering team in 2011, Matt has appreciated how B&W team members are always friendly and willing to help each other out. Each project is truly a group effort, and no one gets left behind.
He’s also appreciated B&W’s opportunities for growth, like when he managed a large OxyChem project in Ingleside, Texas, as a project engineer. It was his first time supervising a project of that size, and he also helped perform B&W’s core services on the facility.
“There was a lot of help from senior engineers to teach the younger people. It felt like a family, and I loved the sense of camaraderie everyone had with each other. That still holds true today.”
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and playing hockey. All four of his kids also play, and Matt loves coaching them and cheering them on at the rink!
