B&W Energy Services has been contracted to provide engineering and field execution steam blowing services for the Manzanillo III combined cycle power plant in the state of Colima, Mexico.
The Manzanillo III combined cycle power plant will be the latest addition to the Manuel Álvarez Moreno thermoelectric complex, the largest of its kind in Mexico. The complex currently consists of 12 power generation units from the Manzanillo I and Manzanillo II thermoelectric plants. Upon this project’s completion, the Manzanillo III plant will provide electricity for thousands of residents.
The B&W team provided steam blowing services for the Manzanillo I plant when it was converted to a combined cycle HRSG plant, and we’re honored to have a second opportunity to contribute to the Manuel Álvarez Moreno thermoelectric complex.
