As the year progresses and we continue to seek new opportunities, we wanted to take some time and inform our colleagues on two exciting wins for B&W Energy Services.
B&W Energy Services: Bahrain
B&W Energy Services is proud to announce that we have officially launched our Bahrain base of operations to further accommodate our increasing involvement in and around the region.
The office is wholly owned by B&W and will act as our headquarters for pre-commissioning and commissioning cleaning projects in the Middle East.
Bahrain is part of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the political and economic alliance of six Middle Eastern countries—Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Our team is working heavily within GCC countries in the coming months.
“B&W is well-known in this region for quality services and high engineering standards. We already have substantial clientele around the globe. Our Bahrain office will further strengthen our client base for the region, and our clients in the GCC are excited to have us next door,” said Yasin Harriz, Regional Manager of B&W’s Bahrain operations. Harriz offers many years of pre-commissioning cleaning experience in the region, leading our current and future projects with a commendable amount of success.
Venture Gulf Engineering Sponsorship: Qatar
In addition to the Bahrain office, there is more exciting progress to report. B&W Energy Services has recently renewed a sponsorship agreement in Qatar with Venture Gulf Engineering.
Venture Gulf Engineering (VGE) is a well-established company in Qatar—they sponsored B&W in 2009-2011, during our initial influx of project work in the region. With the natural connection between VGE and B&W and a history of successful work behind us, it was no question that our teams were ready to partner up once again. As new expansion and LNG projects arise in Qatar and other GCC countries, B&W is ready to mobilize with the aid and partnership of several local organizations, VGE included.
“Between B&W’s expertise, industry-leading equipment and multitudes of experience, the only thing that would make our GCC experience more impactful is having a headquarters near the action,” said Greg Rascoe, Director of Business Development at B&W. “Now that we’ve planted roots in Qatar, we’re setting even higher goals for the future.”
Of course, we would not be able to do any of these groundbreaking things without the hard work and continued support of our team. For more information on B&W’s Bahrain office, our work in Qatar or more, reach out today.
