HOUSTON, Texas—October 10, 2015—B&W Energy Services, the leading full service provider of commissioning and pre-commissioning cleaning services across the globe, is proud to announce a new project at the Dyno Nobel ammonia plant in Waggaman, Louisiana.
The Dyno Nobel ammonia plant is a groundbreaking project, as it is one of the first onshore ammonia plants built in the United States in the past 20 years. The $600 million Dyno Nobel project is slated for mechanical completion in March 2016.
“We are very excited to have been selected by KBR and Dyno Nobel to support this critical project,” said Chris Oakley, Director of Sales and Engineering at B&W Energy Services. “B&W is well positioned to support this project and other major projects currently being developed along the U.S. Gulf Coast,” Oakley said.
The initial contract was awarded in mid-August for site-wide steam blow services at Dyno Nobel, including engineering and field execution. The engineering phase was completed in early September as part of a fast track program in preparation for rapid mobilization and execution.
Additional services were also recently awarded to B&W, including AquaLazing of the High Pressure Steam System, Chemical Cleaning and Oil Flushing Services. The engineering phase for these services is currently under way.
