Air Blowing Equipment
Effective air blowing requires achieving the flow and velocity necessary to remove construction debris and contaminants from the system.
B&W utilizes proprietary, containerized pulse units designed specifically for industrial air blowing applications. Our equipment includes:
- Code-stamped, high-volume pressure vessels used as air receivers
- Code-stamped pressure vessels used as pulse formers
- Safety valves for overpressure protection
- Quick-opening valves for controlled air blow execution
- Preassembled valves, interconnecting piping, gauges, controls and fittings
AquaLazing Equipment
B&W’s AquaLazing equipment is designed to clean long and complex piping runs while minimizing the number of access points required.
Depending on system configuration, our equipment can clean up to 1,000 feet of piping ranging from 2 to 120 inches in diameter through a single entry point while navigating multiple changes in direction.
Our AquaLazing equipment includes:
- High-pressure pumps capable of operating up to 15,000 psi
- Noise-suppressing pump containers rated at 78 dB
- Advancing devices for controlled hose and nozzle feed rates
- Specialized high-pressure cleaning nozzles
- Wireless remote pump shutoffs
These systems allow us to perform high-pressure cleaning efficiently while minimizing interference with other activities in the work area.
Chemical Cleaning Equipment
Chemical cleaning performance depends on much more than chemical selection. Proper circulation, temperature control, filtration, system configuration and analytical verification all contribute to a successful cleaning process.
B&W’s engineering team designs chemical cleaning systems around the specific requirements of each application. Our equipment and execution approach can include:
- Hard-piped temporary circulation systems
- High-flow circulation pumps
- High-volume fine filtration
- Plate-and-frame heat exchangers
- Comprehensive analytical testing and verification
- Temporary piping fabricated to applicable ASME B31.3 standards
- Temporary spools utilizing ANSI B16.5 flanged connections

Lube Oil Flushing Equipment
High-velocity oil flushing requires sufficient flow, filtration and temperature control to achieve the turbulence necessary to remove contaminants from critical lubrication systems.
B&W’s purpose-built lube oil flushing equipment allows our team to establish these conditions independently of the facility’s permanent equipment.
Our oil flushing systems include:
- External high-velocity flushing skids
- High-flow filtration systems
- Specialized heat exchangers for controlled temperature cycling
- Thorough evaluation of each facility’s systems before flushing
- A comprehensive equipment inspection and maintenance program

Steam Blowing Equipment
B&W maintains one of the industry’s largest inventories of wet and dry steam silencers, allowing our team to support large and complex steam blowing programs.
Our dry silencers are designed to handle steam flows of up to 900,000 lb/hr while maintaining a noise rating of 85 dB or less at 50 feet from the discharging steam.
Our steam-blowing equipment and engineering capabilities include:
- Wet and dry steam silencer systems
- Temporary piping fabricated to applicable ASME standards
- Pneumatic high-strength target inserters
- Robust, quick-opening steam blow valves
- Flow modeling and analysis for each system
- Stress analysis and support design
- Acoustic Induced Vibration (AIV) and Flow Induced Vibration (FIV) analysis
With the ability to deploy multiple silencers simultaneously, B&W can support complex steam blow programs involving multiple systems, units and execution sequences.
